Weekend in Austin.

Last weekend in Austin, on the occasion of the celebration of the Livestrong Marathon and Half Marathon, to participate in the last one.  Participation already comment on my other (blog)

But it could not be otherwise, and that is the subject of this blog, also I had time to draw. And different themes: people, landscapes and buildings.

I could not draw the Texas State Capitol, Saturday was realmemte unpleasant, raining and cold, and the Big Building is quite unprotected, I chose to draw other buildings. Maybe the next time.

Birds watching at Gulf Coast Bird Observatory.

On Saturday morning, cold and sunny, we spend together with a group of birds lovers, a visit to one of the many wetlands in this area ofTexas, known as the Gulf Region. My wife is a passionate of the birds, so with prismatic and book of notes her, and Block, watercolors and other material of drawing me,we spend a fantastic morning.
I Would have to provide some drawing of these nice animals, but I am not wery good drawing animals at least at the moment.
For me it was enough challenge, draw natural spaces.

Workshop - Houses

Some work done with Ink and Watercolor, in my first Workshop at the Watercolor Art Society of Houston.
Very entertaining, a reduced assistance ( 6 persons), and a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. With demostrations and paint along as well as personal attention.
